Dr. Thomas Menke
Board Certified in Anesthesiology

Dr. Thomas Menke received his BS from Drew University. He then attended New Jersey’s School of Osteopathic Medicine where he received his Doctorate in Osteopathy.

Dr. Thomas Menke completed an Internship and Residency at Monmouth Medical Center. From 1983- 1985, Dr. Menke was Chief Resident in Anesthesia.

After leaving Monmouth, Dr. Menke became Chief of Anesthesia at Pease Air Force Base in NH. In 1989, he joined Portsmouth Hospital as a staff anesthesiologist. He latter became Chief of that department and also Medical Director of the Ambulatory Surgical Center at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Dr. Menke is Board Certified with the American Board of Anesthesia and licensed in both NH and MA. He also has certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Neonatal Resuscitative Program and in Pediatric Advanced Life Support. He recently became a board certified Ambulatory Surgery Center administrator.

Dr. Menke presently works with Stratham Anesthesia Associates and is Medical Director at the Stratham Ambulatory Surgery Center. He is also the administrator at SASC.






Dr. Christopher O'Neill
Board Certified in Anesthesiology

Dr. Christopher O’Neill received his BA from Boston College and went on to receive his Post Baccalaureate from the University of Massachusetts at Boston in Dorchester, MA. He received his Doctorate in Medicine at Creighton University School of Medicine in Omaha, NE.

Dr.O'Neill completed an Internship at Emory University Affiliated Hospitals in Atlanta, Georgia. He completed his Residency in Anesthesiology at Harvard University in Cambridge, MA. Dr. O'Neill received training at Massachusetts General Hospital, Children's Hospital, and Brigham and Women's Hospital.

In 2003, Dr.O'Neill moved with his family to Portsmouth to become a Board Certified Staff Anesthesiologist at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

In 2009, Dr.O'Neill formed Stratham Anesthesia Associates, an anesthesia practice specializing in outpatient ambulatory care. He currently performs anesthetics at Stratham Ambulatory Surgery Center, Salem Surgery Center and Bedford Ambulatory Surgical Center.

Dr. O’Neill is certified with the American Board of Anesthesiology, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and with the Neonatal Resuscitation Program.

Dr. Aristotle Damianos
Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Dr. Aristotle Damianos received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and his degree in medicine from Dartmouth Medical School.

He completed his internship and residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He finished his fellowship in Gastroenterology at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Pennsylvania State University.

Board certified in Gastroenterology, he has been in practice since 1996 and joined Atlantic Digestive Specialists in 2001.

He has served as a reviewer for the Annals of Internal Medicine, and worked as a physician during the 2004 Athens Olympic Games.





Dr. Roger Epstein
Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Dr. Roger Epstein received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his degree in Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine. His internship and residency were completed at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts. He obtained his fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology Nutrition at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Epstein was Assistant Professor in Clinical Medicine at Boston University School of Medicine and has also served as Chief of Medicine, Chairman of the Ambulatory Care Committee and Chief of Staff at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.

Dr. Epstein is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He joined Atlantic Digestive Specialists in 1988.





Marylyn V. Grondin
Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Dr. Grondin’s expertise in caring for patients shows in her practice at Atlantic Digestive Specialists. Licensed in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire, Dr. Grondin is the only experienced female gastroenterologist on the seacoast and has been with the practice since 1992.


Dr. Grondin earned a B.A. with Distinction from the University of Colorado, an M.D from the Universidad LaSalle in Mexico City, Mexico, and a Certificate of Clinical Training – 5th Pathway, from the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.


Dr. Grondin’s post-graduate training includes a Clinical Gastroenterology Fellowship and a Gastroenterology Research Fellowship at the West Virginia University School of Medicine. She performed her Internal Medicine Internship and Residency at Bridgeport Hospital in Connecticut, an affiliate of Yale University School of Medicine. Following her post-graduate training in gastroenterology, she remained on the medical staff of West Virginia University School of Medicine as an Assistant Professor training Fellows in both pediatric and adult gastroenterology.


Throughout her career, Dr. Grondin has practiced at many hospitals and medical centers including the Hillcrest Hospital in Pittsfield, Massachusetts, the Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Francisco, California, West Virginia University Hospitals, Inc. and Anna Jacques Hospital in Newburyport, Massachusetts.


Dr. Grondin is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and the New Hampshire Medical Society. She holds privileges at Beth Israel Deaconness Hospital in Boston, MA. In addition to her patient work, Dr. Grondin is a clinical instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical School.






Dr. Brian H. Hyett
Board Certified in Gastroenterology

Dr. Brian Hyett received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his degree in Medicine from the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His internship and residency were completed at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, MA.

He completed his fellowship in Gastroenterology at Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Hyett is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He joined Atlantic Digestive Specialists in 2011.










Dr. Cynthia Paciulli
Board Certified General Surgeon

Dr. Paciulli is a Board Certified General Surgeon who has practiced in the Seacoast since 2002. Dr. Paciulli is the only female surgeon in the Seacoast performing the VNUS Closure procedure for varicose veins, an extremely effective and less invasive alternative to vein stripping.


She completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at Baylor University in Waco, Texas and earned her Medical Doctorate from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, Texas. Her surgical training in General Surgery as well as two years of physiological research training occurred at University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore, MD. She completed a year of fellowship training at the Carolinas Laparoscopic and Advanced Surgical Program (CLASP) in Charlotte, NC before her arrival to Portsmouth.


Dr. Paciulli has been involved with hospital leadership since her arrival including membership in various committees (Breast Care, Cancer Committee, Bariatrics, and Library Committee) as well as former Chair of the Institutional Review Board, member of the Credentials Committee, and Vice Chief of the Department of Surgery. She currently serves also on the Medical Executive Committee and is the Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Portsmouth Regional Hospital.


Dr. Paciulli supports a holistic approach to health care and is continually striving to integrate complementary approaches for the benefit of the Mind, Body, and Soul. At Wentworth Douglas Hospital, she is pleased to be a member of the Integrative Therapies Committee.


Dr. Paciulli is a member of the following organizations

Dr. Paciulli has special interests in Advanced Laparoscopic Procedures for Benign disease and for Cancer, Breast Cancer, and Thyroid surgery.

Dr. Paciulli was the first at PRH to perform less invasive (less painful) hemorrhoid surgery ("PPH", Procedure for Prolapsed Hemorrhoids, or stapled hemorrhoidectomy).


Dr. Paciulli performs Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS) for appropriate candidates


Dr. Paciulli completed extensive Advanced Laparoscopic Fellowship training prior to joining the practice. She is one of the only fellowship-trained laparoscopists on the Seacoast.










Dr. Evelyne Carone, MDCM, FRCSC
Board Certified in Obstetics and Gynecology

Dr. Evelyne Caron attended the Faculty of Medicine at McGill University in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, graduating in 2001. She did her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at McGill, and in 2007, did a fellowship in pediatric and adolescent gynecology at Universite de Montreal. She is a fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is board eligible for the American Board of Obstetrics & Gynecology.


Before joining Partners for Women’s Health, Dr. Caron was a pediatric gynecologist at Women & Infant’s Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island, and concurrently served as an obstetrician and gynecologist at Women’s Care, Inc. also in Providence. In addition, she has an extensive background in teaching and research.


Dr. Caron is a member of the American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists, the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Canada, and the North American Society of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.


Fluent in French and English, Dr. Caron now makes her home in Stratham, NH with her husband, son, and daughter.





Dr. Joseph Hill
Board Certified in Obstetics and Gynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility

Before joining the Fertility Centers of New England, Dr. Hill served in academic medicine for over 17 years and was the Director of Reproductive Medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, and an Associate Professor in Ob-Gyn and Reproductive Biology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Hill is a world-renown speaker and expert in reproductive medicine, especially relating to infertility and recurrent pregnancy loss. He has been named as one of "The Best Doctors in America" in three national consumer publications annually since 1994.


Dr. Hill completed his medical degree and residency at The Medical College of Georgia. He completed a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility and another in Reproductive Immunology at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School.


Dr. Hill has been awarded several academic scholarships; published more than 150 scientific and clinical papers and textbook chapters; and presented at numerous medical and scientific meetings in 22 countries. He is a member of many professional associations, including the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, the American Gynecological and Obstetrical Society, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the Society for Gynecologic Investigation, and the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.


Dr. Hill enjoys winter sports, horseback riding, music (he has been a jazz drummer for 40 years and recently started playing the piano), reading, writing, and traveling with his children.







Dr. Thomas King
Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery - Knees, Hips and Shoulders

Dr. King received his BA from Harvard College. He then attended Harvard Medical School where he received his Doctorate in Medicine.


Dr. King completed an Internship and Residency in General Surgery at Mass General Hospital. He also completed an Orthopedic Residency at Harvard where he was Chief Resident.


Dr. King has completed several fellowship programs including the Massachusetts General Hospital Cave Traveling Fellowship in Sports Medicine and Reconstructive Hip and Knee Surgery working in Germany, Italy and England. Dr. King also completed an AO Traveling Fellowship for Trauma and Reconstructive Hip and Knee Surgery working in Germany, Switzerland and Italy.


Dr. King had an Orthopedic Practice at Brigham and Women’s Hospital and became a clinical Instructor in Health Science and Technology at M.I.T and an instructor in Orthopedic Surgery at Harvard Medical School.


Dr. King is a Diplomate to the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery. He also is a Fellow of many organizations including the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgery, the Orthopedic Research Society, and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgery. Dr. King is also an Honorary Fellow of the Hungarian Orthopedic Association.


Dr. King’s philosophy is simple. He believes that good medicine comes from caring about his patients on a personal level. He enjoys getting to know his patients and their families while trying to understand how their medical problems impact their jobs, sports and daily lives. Orthopedics has offered him the opportunity to combine his interests in science and sports. The science helps him help his patients make better treatment decisions. His experience with sports makes it easy to sympathize with their desire to get back to normal activities quickly. Dr. King has said, “My greatest satisfaction comes from helping a person return to normal function and pursue activities they may not have enjoyed for years.”


Dr. King remains active and enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, windsurfing, soccer, tennis, sailing, building antique furniture reproductions, playing drums, harmonica and guitar in a rock and roll band. He is married with four children and one cat.

Dr. Daryl Colden
Board Certified in Otolaryngology (Ear,Nose & Throat)

Dr. Daryl Colden is a Board Certified, Fellowship trained Otolaryngologist (Ear Nose Throat & Allergy) specialist who founded Colden & Seymour ENT and Allergy in 2003 to provide comprehensive and specialized pediatric and adult medical care in a personalized community setting.


Dr. Colden performed his internship in General Surgery at the Beth Israel Hospital as part of Harvard Medical School. Dr. Colden then completed his Ear Nose Throat & Allergy training at the Harvard Medical School program in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Colden in uniquely qualified to treat the complex disorders of the nose and face by being double board certified in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery as well as Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.


Dr. Colden has been selected as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, as well as a Fellow in the American Academy of Otolaryngic Alllergy and is a member of many national medical societies, including the American Academy of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery, American Academy of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, American Rhinologic Society, Massachusetts Medical Society, Massachusetts Society of Otolaryngology, American Academy of Sleep Medicine and the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy.


Dr. Colden is committed to furthering medical education and research, and is involved in teaching the next generation of medical students and residents through his affiliations with Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard Medical School and Tufts Medical School. His academic titles include Assistant Surgeon in Otolaryngology, Associate Staff, Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary, Clinical Instructor in Otology & Laryngology, Harvard Medical School, Assistant Surgeon in Otolaryngology, Associate Staff, Tufts Medical School, and he is a former Assistant Clinical Professor at Manhattan Eye Ear & Throat Hospital.


Dr. Colden lives in Newburyport with his wife Kristin, an optometrist, and his 2 grade school aged daughters. He has been involved in many philanthropic endeavors in the region, including being a board member of the synagogue Ahavis Achim, corporator at the Institution for Savings, corporator for the Anna Jaques Foundation, as well as founding member of the Greater Newburyport Benevolence Foundation, which has raised overwhich has raised over $50,000 for local charities such as the Jeanne Geiger Foundation and the Pettengill House.




Dr. Brett Rankin
Board Certified in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat)

Dr. Brett Rankin is from the Seacoast area and graduated from York High School in York, Maine. In 1989, Dr. Rankin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Colby College in Waterville, Maine, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Chemistry. He is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. He received his medical training at the University of Vermont Medical School in Burlington, Vermont, where he was elected to the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Upon graduating from medical school in 1993, Dr. Rankin completed a five year surgical residency in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose & Throat) in a joint program between the University of Vermont’s Fletcher Allen Healthcare and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He subsequently completed a one year fellowship program in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Rankin has lived with his wife and children in the Seacoast area since 2000. In Dr. Rankin's spare time, he enjoys traveling, hiking, gardening and skiing.


Dr. Rankin offers expertise on a wide range of Ear, Nose & Throat conditions, including sinus problems, obstructive sleep apnea, tonsillitis, ear infections, thyroid issues and head and neck cancers. He is Board Certified in Otolaryngology and holds medical licenses from both New Hampshire and Maine. He is a member of the American Board of Otolaryngology, the American Society of Otolaryngology, and the New Hampshire Medical Society, the Maine Medical Association, and the Maine Otolaryngology Society. He has also been a member of the foundation for Seacoast Health Scholarship Review Committee since 2005.


For Dr. Rankin, the patient always comes first. He takes the time to truly listen to his patients and to educate them about their conditions. He is a favorite of young and old alike and was named a “Top Doctor” by New Hampshire magazine in 2009 and 2010.

Dr. Christopher Sarno
Board Certified in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat)

Dr. Sarno, an Iowa native, travelled west to California for college where he attended Stanford University and majored in Biology. He met his wife, Samara, in Florence, Italy where they were both Stanford students studying abroad. After college, Dr. Sarno returned to Iowa where he first earned his Master’s degree in Biology and then continued on to medical school at the University of Iowa. His post-doctoral training continued with a 5-year residency program in Otolaryngology -- Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He and his family decided to move back to his wife’s home state of Maine where he joined Dr. Rankin in 2008. Dr. Sarno loves spending time with his wife and 3 children outdoors, particularly playing and coaching soccer and kayaking.

Dr. Sarno enjoys treating the wide variety of head and neck problems including ear infections, hearing loss, snoring and sleep apnea, voice disorders, thyroid and neck masses, nasal obstruction and sinus disease, and skin cancer removal and reconstruction. He also likes treating both pediatric and adult patients. He is a member of the American Board of Otolaryngology, the American Academy of Otolaryngology, the Maine and New Hampshire Societies of Otolaryngology. He is licensed in both Maine and New Hampshire and performs surgical cases in York, Portsmouth, and Stratham. He is also a member of Healthcare GIVES, a non-profit organization donating money to various health agencies throughout the Seacoast area.

Drs. Sarno and Rankin have focused their practice on creating an environment where the patient comes first. They spend a lot of time discussing the plan with the patient, so they can really understand why recommendations are being made.






Dr. Peter E. Seymour
Board Certified in Otolaryngology (Ear, Nose and Throat)

Dr. Seymour is a Board Certified, Fellowship trained Otolaryngologist-Head and Neck Surgeon who joined the practice in 2009 to continue the tradition of excellent care for general ear, nose and throat disorders and provide additional expertise in the management of ear disorders (chronic infections, hearing loss and balance disorders).

Dr. Seymour was one of 11 students throughout the country to be accepted into Albany Medical School as a senior in high school. He completed the combined Siena College-Albany Medical College program with honors. Following this 8 year education, he chose to pursue training in otolaryngology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. This institution was a pioneer in several forms of tonsillectomy aimed at reducing recovery time and post-operative pain.

After completing his chief resident year at Thomas Jefferson, he was accepted in the Christiana Care Otologic Medicine and Surgery Fellowship in Wilmington, DE under the tutelage of Dr Micheal Teixido. Under his guidance, he performed several hundred additional ear surgeries beyond his training at Thomas Jefferson including cochlear implantation, bone anchored hearing aides, chronic ear infection surgery, repair of ear drum perforations and surgery to restore hearing (i.e. stapedectomy, ossiculoplasty, etc.)

Dr. Seymour is board certified by the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. In addition, he is a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergy, Massachusetts Medical Society, and New England Otolaryngology Society. He is on faculty at both Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary and New England Medical Center (Tufts) serving as Assistant Surgeon in Otolaryngology-Associate staff and Assistant Clinical Professor, respectively. He is also part of the Beth Israel Deaconess Physician Organization and the Lower Merrimack Valley IPA. Dr. Seymour is licensed to practice medicine in both Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

Dr. Seymour originates from Rouses Point, New York and moved to the Merrimack Valley with his wife and three young children in 2009. His wife, Bridget Seymour, MD, is a local Gastroenterologist who also started her practice in the Merrimack Valley in 2009. Dr Seymour and his wife have completed several volunteer medical missions throughout the world including several months in both Grenada and Western Samoa teaching children and assisting in underserved medical communities. He enjoys travel, hockey, golf and skiing and is happy to be sharing these activities with his children. As a father to three young children he enjoys the opportunity to work with children of all ages and strives to make their time in the office and hospital as comfortable as possible.

Dr. Charles Gaudet
Board Certified in Plastic Surgery

Dr. Gaudet is a recognized expert in the field of cosmetic and plastic surgery. Dr. Richard Zeff
Board Certified in Plastic Surgery

Dr. Zeff received his BS at Tufts University and his MD at the University of Miami. He is a well established and respected Plastic Surgeon serving the Seacoast for over 25 years.


After completing a surgical internship at New York University Bellevue Hospital in New York City, Dr. Zeff went on to residency in general surgery in Des Moines, Iowa, and completed his plastic surgery training at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois.


Dr. Zeff is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the New Hampshire Medical Society, and the New England Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. Dr. Zeff has served as Chief of Surgery at Portsmouth Hospital in Portsmouth, New Hampshire, and has been in private practice since 1986.


Over the last 10 to 15 years Dr. Zeff has focused his expertise on cosmetic surgery and sees patients from throughout New England and beyond. He specializes in Abdominoplasty, Breast Augmentation, Breast Lift, Liposuction and Body Contouring, and Facial Plastic Surgery including facelift, neck lift and eyelid rejuvenation.
